RE: Permit Review for Aster Place Affordable Housing Development in Parachute CO

The Garfield County Building Department has reviewed the request for Building Permits
regarding the Construction Plans for Aster Place Apartments that are to be constructed on the
parcel indicated above. There are three buildings that comprise this request: two apartment
buildings with 58 affordable housing units and a community clubhouse building. Each building
has its own permit request. The Owner has made all required corrections to the Construction
Plans per the Building Department's review findings and will satisfy the Garfield County General
Typical Conditions of Permit during construction, as has been provided to the Owner, Architect
and General Contractor, other than payment of permit fees. As such we are ready to issue
Building Permits permitting construction and installation of all improvements described in the
approved Construction Plans for the three buildings within this project. The total building permit
and plan review fees for the three buildings is $25,900,18. With the down payment received, the
remaining permitting fees due are in the amount of $18,985.32 to be paid to Garfield County in
cash or by check made out to Garfield County Treasurer, at the office of the Garfield County
Building Department, the Building Permits will be promptly issued in full without further
conditions.
