REQUIRED FOR FINAL INSPECT ION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
4) ALL EXTERIOR LIGHTING TO BE DOWNCAST AND SHIELDED.
5) WILDFIRE MITIGATION RECOMMENDED : SHOULD COMPLY WITH WILDFIRE MIT IGATION AND
DEFENSIBLE SPACE RECOMMENDATIONS PER COLORADO STATE FOREST SERVICE AND LOCAL FIRE
DISTRICT . PLEASE REFER TO THE GARF IELD COUNTY COMMU N ITY DEVELOPMENT WEBSITE FOR

6) OPEN HOLE SO ILS REPO RT IS REQUIRED AT FOOTI N G IN SPECTION AND PRIOR TO ANY CONCRETE
POUR . PROV IDE COPY OF GEOTECHN ICAL ENGINEERS REPORT TO THE BUILD ING INSPECTOR .
1,500 psf soil bearing, include compaction report for structural fill.
7) ROAD & BRIDGE DRIVEWAY REVIEW/ APPROVALS : PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION &
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY PROVIDE FINAL APPROVAL/ SIGN-OFF FROM GARFIELD COUNTY'S
ROAD & BRIDGE DEPT . CALL (970) 625-8601 AND HAVE ROAD & BRIDGE SIGN THE PERMIT
INSPECTION CARD .
8) SEPTIC SYSTEM REVIEW/ APPROVALS : PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF
OCCUPANCY PROVIDE FINAL APPROVAL / SIGN -OFF FROM GARFIELD COUNTY'S PUBLIC HEALTH
DEPT.
9) BLOWER DOOR TEST IS REQUIRED. MUST SUBMIT BLOWER DOOR TEST REPORT TO GARFIELD
COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPT. OFFICE PRIOR TO SCHEDULING FINAL BUILDING
INSPECTION/ C.O . FINAL.
10) PRESCRIPTIVE PATH USING RESCHECK CHOSEN FOR ENERGY COMPLIANCE OF THIS HOME.
MANUAL J REPORT ALSO ATTACHED FOR REFERENCE . ALL NEW HOMES TO HAVE WHOLE-HOUSE
MECHANICAL VENTILATION SYSTEM INSTALLED (2015 IRC TABLE m1507 .3 .3(1) AND (2) SHOWN ON
COVER SHEET.
INSTALL STORMWATER CONTROLS PRIOR TO ANY D IRT WORK.
LOCATE ALL UTILITIES PRIOR TO ANY WORK. 811 IS THE STATE UTILITY LOCATE NUMBER
CONTROL NOXIOUS WEEDS . TREAT EX ISTING WEED S PRIOR TO RELOCATING PLANTS AND SEEDS .
REVEGITATE ALL DISTURBED AREAS THAT ARE NOT PART OF A ROAD OR NON-SEEDED AREA.
PROVIDE EROSION CONTROLS UNTIL SEEDED AREAS CAN BE ESTABLISHED.
PROVIDE DUST CONTROL AS REQUIRED DURING CONSTRUCTION.
MAINTAIN ALL DRAINAGE ON THE SUBJECT PROPERTY, DRAINAGE SHALL NOT ENTER NEIGHBORING PROPERTIE S OTHER THAN HISTORIC DRAINAGE .
FOLLOW ENGINEERED PLANS. VERIFY ANY CHANGES WITH THE ENGINEER .
