On December 16 and 17 addiƟonal site visits were made to observe the compacƟon of 12 inches of Class 6 roadbase (CL 6) each day. CompacƟon was provided with a steel drum, sheepsfoot, Dynapac roller. The placed fill was covered with concrete blankets to prevent frost penetraƟon and preserve moisture content as shown on Photo’s 1 and 2. A total of 24 inches of CL 6 was placed and compacted within the foundaƟon footprint area using the appropriate moisture content and degree of compacƟon. The subgrade and CL 6 met the project compacƟon specificaƟons during proofroll observaƟons and nuclear density tesƟng. TesƟng with the nuclear density method on the top 12 inches of CL 6 was at 97 to 98 percent of the maximum dry density of a standard Proctor. Respecƞully submiƩed, Geo Quest, LLC Kevin E.
