The system was designed by Huddleston Berry Engineering and Testing, LLC and installed by the homeowner. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated November 21, 2025. During our inspection, we observed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the building, the new poly 1,000- gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the second compartment of the tank, the new effluent line, the new distribution box, and the Soil Treatment Area (STA). The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. The STA consisted of one gravelless chamber bed with four rows of 15 Infiltrator ‘Quick4’ chambers per bed (60 total chambers, 720 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each corner of each bed. We received confirmation October 7, 2025, via email, that the sewer pipe under drivable areas had been replaced with Schedule 40 PVC, the effluent filter handle had been extended to within 12 inches of the riser lid of the septic tank, and that flow equalizers or an equivalent device was installed in the distribution box effluent lines to encourage equal distribution of the effluent to the STA. As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
