On December 1, 2025, we visited the site of the building under construction at 507 Westbank Road near
Glenwood Springs in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS
Permit # SEPT-9569. The system was designed by CBO Inc. and installed by Alpine Excavation. We
received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was
constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated December 1, 2025.
During our inspection, we observed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the building, the new
poly 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the second
compartment of the tank, the new effluent line, the new distribution box, and the Soil Treatment Area
(STA). The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. The STA
consisted of two gravelless chamber beds with three rows of 11 Infiltrator ‘Quick4’ chambers per bed (66
total chambers, 792 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each corner of each bed.
We received confirmation December 1, 2025, via email, that the ditch liner had been reinstalled, and the
existing tank had been abandoned.
As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection
observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
