DESCRIPTION OF INSPECTION WORK PERFORMED: Special Inspection provided to verify shop welding/fabrication
of structural steel required by the 2021 IBC, structural engineer and local bullding jurisdiction.
LOCATION IN STRUCTURE: Special Inspection provided to verlfy shop fabricaton / welding of structural steel as
detalled and approved by structural engineer.
REMARKS FOR STRUCTURAL STEEL: Monitor welding of structural steel fabrication as detalled and designed by
structural engineer. Welding was performed by certified welders employed by Aspen Welding using approved filler
materlals and processes. Weld discontinuities were corrected in inspector's presence in accordance with AWS D1.1/AISC
specifications. Mill certifications for steel elements reviewed and kept on file by fabricators. No problems noted. Upon the
completion of the work described herein, the work performed, the materials utilized and the processes used appear to fully
comply with the approved plans and applicable codes.
REMAKS GENERAL: Special Inspection on this project was performed per the special inspection requirements adopted
from the 2021IBC by the Garfleld County Department as part of the approved plan.
ALL WORK REFERENCED ABOVE WITNESSED BY INDUSTRIAL INSPECTION SERVICES PERSONNEL, PERFORMED THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 2025 WAS SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED AND CONFORMS TO THE APPROVED PLANS, THE 2021
INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODES (IBC), THE ADOPTED PROVISIONS OF THE AWS D1.1 AND THE AISC MANUAL OF STEEL
CONSTRUCTION 360, SECTION N. THIS STATEMENT APPLIED DIRECTLY TO THOSE PORTIONS OF THE STRUCTURE WHICHSPECIAL INSPECTION WAS PRESCRIBED AS PART OF THE APPROVED PLANS DETAILED ACCOUNT OF DAILY EVENTS
