The system was designed by CBO, Inc. and installed by Norsk Builders (the homeowner). We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated October 14, 2025. During our inspection, we observed the new sewer lines and cleanouts adjacent to the residence and ADU, the new concrete 2,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank for the main residence and a new poly 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank, followed by a single compartment 500-gallon poly pump chamber with a high-head Orenco pump package, the new pump line, the automatic distributing valve (ADV), and the Soil Treatment Area (STA). The septic tanks, pump chamber, and ADV were installed level. The STA consisted of 4 gravelless chamber trenches consisting of 19 Quick4 chambers per trench (76 chambers total, 912 ft2 total STA). The distribution laterals were constructed of 1.5- inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC with 5/32-inch diameter orifices every 3-feet on center, facing up, with the first and last orifices facing down for drainage. The distribution laterals ended in a 90-degree sweeping bend facing up, fitted with a ball valve to allow flushing of the laterals. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. On October 13, 2025, we received confirmation of proper control panel installation, pump wiring, and functioning audio and visual alarms. As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
