CTLIThompson, Inc. (CTLjT) visited the Sperry Residence on January 13, 2026. The
purpose of our site visit was to observe the subgrade soils at planned footing elevation for the
residence to be constructed on the lot. The subgrade soils consisted of the on -site sandy silt

CTL(T performed a geotechnicaI engineering investigation for the Sperry Residence at
the site (Project No. GS06951.000-120; report dated March 21; 20-?5-). Our report recommended
that the residence be constructed on the undisturbed, sand and silt or densely compacted,
structural fill with a maximum allowable bearing pressure of 2,000 psf.
Based on our observatiorts during our January 13, 2026 site visit, we judge the natural
sand and silt and structural, fill is suitable for support of footings designed for a maximurn -allowa-
bie bearing pressure of 2,000 psf.

General Remarks:
As requested, a sile visit was made to observe conditions exposed in the foundation excavation for the Sperry Residence. The
excavation has been taken down the remainder of the way to proposed footing elevation, exposing the native sandy silt. The
excavator has removed the tree roots encountered in the central portion of the excavation as recommended, and replaced this
area with the native sandy silt soil. We judge the completed excavation as appropriate for construction of footings.
