On September 17, 2025, we visited the residence at 213 County Road 228 near Silt in Garfield County,
Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-9344. The system was
designed by Huddleston-Berry Engineering & Testing LLC and was installed by the homeowner. We
received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was
constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated November 21,
2025.
During our inspection, we observed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, and the
expanded Soil Treatment Area (STA). The expanded STA consisted of three gravelless chamber trenches.
Two of the trenches consist of 10 Quick4 chambers and one trench consists of 2 Quick4 chambers (22
additional chambers, 264 ft2 additional STA, 744 ft2 of total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were
present at the distal end of each trench.
As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection
observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
