Dear Permit Holder,
A review of County Records indicates that Building Permit _BLRE 04-16-4127_ at the
above address has not received a final inspection. Our records indicate that in order
to call for a final inspection to close the Building Permit, the following items will need
to be addressed:
1. State final Electrical Inspection
2. A final inspection from Garfield County
Once the above items are complete, please call (970) 945-1377 x 1621 to schedule the
inspection.
If the above items and final inspection are not completed within 30 days, per the
adopted and amended 2015 International Residential Code (IRC) and International
Building (IBC) code Section 105.5 the above permit will be expired. Please contact
this office within 30 days to establish the status of the permit and your plan to
complete the work.
After the expiration of the permit, the work authorized by the permit is no longer
allowed and you will be required to apply for a new permit to complete the work. It
is a violation of Colorado Revised Statutes § 30-28-205 & 210, IRC Sections R110
and R113, Section 110 and 114 to use or occupy the building or area unless final
inspections have been completed and/or a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued.
Records of this uncompleted project and expired permit will be permanently
preserved with the permitting records of Garfield County. Please note that an expired

permit and unfinished or uninspected work may be a material defect required to be
disclosed to a potential buyer of your property. You may also be required to disclose
the condition of the work and permit to your insurer.
