Comments on the harvest roaring
fork PUD
Dear Glenn,
The use change for this development far
exceeds the master plan for our valley and we
strongly oppose this change. The increase of
housing units will impact the traffic trips
significantly, up to a 11,000 car trips a day.
There is no way highway 82 can handle that
many more trips a day.
As an adjacent land owner, getting out of our
driveway is right now so difficult to add 11,000
more cars will make it impossible.
As to the completeness of the application, this
the most incomplete application. Harvest RR
has failed to supply a complete drainage plan,
site plan, utility plan and a water supply plan
that list their water sources because the will
serve letter is incomplete. The wildlife and
water quantity impacts have not been properly
addressed.
We totally oppose this PUD at this level.
