My name is Rolf, and I am the Manager of Royal Mini Storage. I am writing in strong support
of the Harvest Roaring Fork project.
I have raised my family in the Roaring Fork Valley and have experienced firsthand both the
incredible opportunities this community offers and the growing challenges that come with
Living here, especially when it comes to housing. Over the years, I have watched
hardworking families struggle to find attainable places to live, often being forced farther
down valley or into shared living situations simply to make ends meet.
As a local business manager, I see how the housing shortage affects not just families, but
the stability of our workforce and the health of our local economy. Employees want to live
near where they work, be present for their families, and invest in the community, but the
Lack of affordable housing makes that increasingly difficult.
Projects like Harvest Roaring Fork are an important step toward creating housing options
that support working families and strengthen the long-term sustainability of our valley.
Providing attainable homes for local workers helps preserve the character of our
community and ensures that the people who live and work here can continue to call this
place home.
