Mr. Mendoza,
I am reviewing the building permit application and drawings for a 3200 sq. ft. building on your property
indicated as a "detached garage".
I have some concerns, the drawings indicate you are a finished carpenter. I would like to clarify the actual
use of this building, please respond to this email with answers the following questions for the record:
■ Will this structure be a woodshop or storage for your business?
• Will this building be used for personal storage associated with the single-family home that is on
the property?
The site plan does not indicate how access to the building will be provided, how will access to the
building be provided?
If the use of the building is for a business and not personal storage it would need a Land Use Change
Permit with the Planning Department. A violation to County's Land Use Code and would lead to a Code
Enforcement Case to bring it into compliance. I would suggest doing it up front and eliminate the Code
Enforcement Case if this is for your business.
Sincerely,

Dear John,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the building permit application for 22 Booms Place.
Please be advised that the proposed structure is intended solely for personal use and not for business
purposes. It will be used to store personal items, including vehicles, ATVs, and an RV.
Regarding access, the entrance to this building will be the same as the existing entrance to the home.
Thank you for the opportunity to clarify the intended use of this garage. Kind regards
Best regards,
