Box 1534 Eagle, CO 81631 altitudeseptic@gmail.com www.altitudeseptic.com Septic Video Inspection Report Inspection Date: 12/15/2025 Property Address: 3724 County Road 214 System Type: Septic System Septic Tank Size: 1,000-gallon septic tank Scope of Inspection A video inspection was performed on the outlet line from the septic tank toward the leach field. The purpose of this inspection was to evaluate the condition of the sewer line and identify any obstructions or structural issues that may affect system performance. Findings Outlet Line Video Inspection • The sewer line was videoed from the septic tank outlet in the direction of the leach field. • Roots were encountered in the line at approximately 68 feet from the point of access. • Due to the severity of the root intrusion, the camera was unable to advance past this point. • The leach field could not be visually confirmed during this inspection because access was obstructed by the roots. Septic Tank Condition • The septic tank is a 1,000-gallon tank. • The internal baffle wall was found to be degraded. • The baffle wall is no longer attached to the top of the tank, indicating advanced deterioration. • A degraded or detached baffle wall can allow solids to pass into the outlet line, increasing the risk of line blockage and potential leach field damage. Video Documentation Video Link: ______________here__________________ Recommendations • It is recommended that the outlet line be jetted to remove root intrusion and debris. • Jetting will allow for a clearer assessment of the line condition and help determine the full extent of any damage. • After jetting, a follow-up video inspection is recommended to confirm whether the line can be fully accessed to the leach field. • Due to the degraded and detached baffle wall, repairs or replacement of the septic tank baffle system should be considered to prevent further issues. Summary The video inspection identified significant root intrusion in the outlet line at 68 feet, preventing access to the leach field. Additionally, the septic tank baffle wall is severely degraded and no longer structurally sound. Further cleaning and inspection of the outlet line are necessary, along with corrective action to address the failing baffle wall, to ensure proper system function and reduce the risk of future failures.
