The system was designed by K-Cronk Engineering and installed by Voskuil Operations. We received as- built drawings of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated November 11, 2025 and from the homeowner regarding the location and encasement of the waterline and pressurized sewer line from the ADU on March 9, 2026. During our inspection, we observed the new sewer line tie-in to the residence, the new poly 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank upstream of the new poly 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with a high-head Orenco pump package in the second compartment of the tank, the new pump line, the level manifolds, and the Soil Treatment Area (STA). The septic tanks were installed level with access brought to grade. The STA consisted of two 12 feet by 52 feet pressure-dosed gravelless chamber beds consisting of 4 rows of 13 ‘Quick 4 chambers per bed for a total of 104 chambers (1248 ft 2 total STA). The STA consisted of 4 distribution laterals per bed constructed of 1.5-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC with 1/8-inch diameter orifices every 4-feet on center, facing upward. The distribution laterals ended in a 90-degree sweeping bend facing up, fitted with a ball valve to allow flushing of the laterals. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each corner of the bed. On December 2, 2025, we received confirmation that the pressurized sewer line, wye connection between the pressurized line and the gravity line, and encasement of water line were completed and documented. As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
