DESCRIPTION
QuickSeam Joint Cover is uncured FormFlash™ laminated to QuickSeam tape. A second 3" (76.2 mm) layer of
tape is applied at the center and is a special uncured, flowable QuickSeam tape compound. The QuickSeam
Joint Cover conforms to irregular surfaces such as encountered at “T” joints, readily providing an excellent seal.
QuickSeam Joint Covers are designed to cover and seal:
“T” joints formed by field seam intersections.
Joint covers for seams at change in plane on wall or curb flashings.
2" (50.8 mm) seam plates for RubberGard™ MAX pipe penetration attachment layouts.
“T” joints formed by the installation of pre-fabricated pipe flashings over field or factory seams.
As a protection pad under sheet metal joints for EdgeGard™ or snap-on metal.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Clean the RubberGard membrane using QuickPrime™ Plus and the QuickScrubber™ or QuickScrubber Plus
pad and handle to remove all dusting agents, dirt and other contaminants that will affect the finished
seam.
2. Allow to dry according to the touch-push test.
3. Additional cleaning may be required to assure that the membrane is completely cleaned. (Caution: more
cleaning is needed at factory seams.)
4. Cleaning option: clean the RubberGard membrane using clean cotton cloths and Elevate Splice Wash SW-
100 to remove all dusting agents, dirt and other contaminants that will affect the finished seam. Allow to
dry.
5. Allow to dry according to the touch-push test.
6. Remove the release paper from the joint cover, taking care not to touch the outside edges of the joint
cover.
7. Fold the joint cover in half. Position the center of the joint cover over the target point and mate the joint
cover to the prepared surface.
8. Roll the mated surface of the joint cover with a 2" (50.8 mm) silicone roller from the center outward
working the joint cover into the step-off or irregularity.

DESCRIPTION
QuickSeam FormFlash consists of uncured FormFlash factory laminated to QuickSeam Tape. It is designed to
flash inside and outside corners, pipes, penetration pockets and other applications as required by Elevate
Specifications and Details.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Use QuickPrime™ Plus, QuickPrime Plus LVOC, Single-Ply QuickPrime Primer or Single-Ply LVOC Primer
and a QuickScrubber™ or QuickScrubber Plus pad and handle to clean and prime mating surfaces. Refer
to Elevate Installation Instruction Sheet for QuickSeam FormFlash (included in each carton) and Elevate
Specifications and Details.
2. When cloudy conditions below 60 °F (15.6 °C) occur, use heat guns (without ignition sources) to warm
QuickSeam FormFlash. This will ensure good formability of the QuickSeam FormFlash to the primed
substrate.
3. On sunny days less than 70 °F (21.1 °C), place QuickSeam FormFlash on roof (prior to application) with
flashing side up to allow QuickSeam FormFlash to warm to ensure good formability.
4. On sunny days greater than 70 °F (21.1 °C), place QuickSeam FormFlash on roof (prior to application) with
release paper side up to prevent QuickSeam FormFlash from gaining too much heat and to ensure good
formability.
5. Refer to application instructions for specifics: www.HolcimElevate.com
STORAGE
Store in original unopened containers indoors at temperatures between 60 °F (15.6 °C) and 80 °F (26.7 °C).

DESCRIPTION
The Coated Drive Pin Fastener is a compression type fastener for use with acceptable substrates such as hollow
or solid concrete block, masonry, or structural concrete.
It can be used to:
Attach Elevate Termination Bar in conjunction with Elevate single-ply membrane termination details.
Attach Elevate Metal Batten Strips or 2" (51 mm) Seam. Plates in vertical applications as described in
Elevate Details.
NOTE: Do not use this fastener with Polymer Batten Strips or attachment of insulation.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Elevate Termination Bar and Batten Strips must be installed to sound and solid substrate. The substrate must
be clean, dry, and free of foreign materials and contaminants.
2. Pre-drill hole in substrate to receive fastener with ¼" (6.3 mm) diameter masonry drill bit (drill bits are not
supplied). Pre-drill substrate to receive fastener to a depth approximately ¼" (6.3 mm) deeper than the final
embedment of the fastener into the substrate. Drill depth sensors will facilitate standardized drilling.
3. Insert the fastener through the pre-drilled hole in the Elevate Termination Bar or Metal Batten Strip and into
the pre-drilled hole in the wall substrate until the head of the fastener body is tight against the Elevate
Termination Bar or Batten Strip.
4. Using a hammer, drive the nail into the body, expanding and engaging the lower portion of the fastener into the
wall substrate.
5. When field drilling the Elevate Termination Bar or Metal Batten Strip, a 5/16" (7.6 mm) diameter hole must be
drilled for the fastener.
6. If the need arises to remove the drive pin fastener, a #2 Phillips drive can be used to back out the pin. This
allows for easy removal of the fastener shank.
STORAGE
Store in original, unopened packaging protected from the weather.

adhering Elevate RubberGard™ EPDM membranes to approved insulations in addition to wood, metal, masonry, and
other acceptable substrates.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Surfaces to receive EPDM Bonding Adhesive BA-2004(T) shall be clean, smooth, dry, free of sharp edges,
loose and foreign materials, oil, grease, and other contaminants. Sweep the mating surface of the membrane
with a stiff broom to remove excess dusting agent, if present, or other contaminants from the mating surface.
Substrate and ambient temperatures shall exceed 20 °F (-6.7 °C) and rising before applying EPDM Bonding
Adhesive BA-2004(T).
2. If pails are exposed to lower temperatures, restore to between 60 °F (16 °C) and 80 °F (27 °C) prior to use.
Stir the adhesive thoroughly to achieve a uniform mix with no sediment on the bottom and no marbling
evident before and during use.
3. Apply EPDM Bonding Adhesive 2004(T) at about the same time to both the exposed underside of the
membrane and the receiving substrate to allow approximately the same drying time. Apply EPDM Bonding
Adhesive BA-2004(T) evenly, avoiding heavy areas of accumulation.
4. Apply the EPDM Bonding Adhesive BA-2004(T) using a solvent resistant paint roller and roll the adhesive on
the membrane and receiving substrate. When applying EPDM Bonding Adhesive, ensure complete uniform
coverage on the membrane and receiving substrate. Take Care not to apply EPDM Bonding Adhesive on
membrane seam areas.
5. EPDM Bonding Adhesive can be dispensed by power rollers or industrial spray equipment. Other equipment
may be used as recommended by the manufacturer for application of this adhesive. NOTE: Spray applied
bonding adhesive requires back-rolling with 9" (228.6 mm) wide solvent resistant roller (medium nap) to insure
100% adhesive coverage.
6. Allow EPDM Bonding Adhesive to flash off until tacky. Touch down on the Bonding Adhesive surface with a
clean, dry, finger to verify that the adhesive does not string. As you are touching the adhesive, pushing
straight down to check for stringing, also push forward at an angle to ensure that the adhesive solvents have
flashed off throughout its thickness. If either motion reveals wet areas or stringing when the finger is lifted,
then it is not ready for mating. Flash-off time will vary depending on ambient conditions.

7. When the adhesive is ready for mating, roll the adhesive coated portion of the membrane into the adhesive
coated substrate slowly and evenly to maintain position and minimize membrane wrinkles.
8. To ensure proper adhesive contact, broom the mated membrane using a stiff push broom with heavy pressure
immediately after mating the membrane.
9. Contact your Elevate Regional Technical Coordinator at 1-800-428-4511 for specific application instructions.
COVERAGE
Coverage rate is based on roller applied adhesive for mating both surfaces and is highly dependent on the
substrate. Some insulation surfaces are more uneven and porous requiring heavier coverage, while smooth non-
porous substrates may need lighter coverage
Very porous substrates (rough wood, concrete block) may require two coats of EPDM Bonding Adhesive, to ensure
proper adhesion. Check by adhering a small piece of membrane to the porous substrate to verify the bonding
strength.
STORAGE
Store EPDM Bonding Adhesive in original unopened containers at temperatures between 60 °F (16 °C) and
80 °F (27 °C) until ready for use.
If exposed to lower temperatures, restore to between 60 °F (16 °C) and 80 °F (27 °C) prior to use.
For optimum results, rotate stock to ensure stored material has not exceeded the shelf life of one year.
SHELF LIFE
Shelf life of one year can be expected if stored in original sealed container at temperatures between 60 °F
(16 °C) and 80 °F (27 °C).
Shelf life will be shortened if exposed to elevated temperatures for a prolonged period of time.
PRECAUTIONS
Refer to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for additional safety information.

DESCRIPTION
QS Penetration Pockets are a labor-saving alternative to conventional penetration pockets. QS Penetration
pockets are produced using injection molding technology, ensuring uniform product quality and consistency
part after part. Each Penetration Pocket is produced with factory laminated QuickSeam Tape, simplifying
installation to RubberGard™ EPDM.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Remove existing flashing materials, rust, dirt etc. from penetration prior to installing the QS Penetration
Pocket.
2. Seal around the penetration prior to installation to prevent Pourable Sealer from flowing into the roof
system and possibly into the building.
3. Prime the penetration and the roof membrane with appropriate primer.
4. Apply QuickPrime™ Plus; QuickPrime Plus LVOC; Single-Ply LVOC Primer; or Single-Ply QuickPrime Primer
to the inside of the plastic reinforcing ring.
5. After the primer has dried, position the plastic ring centered around the penetration and place on the
primed EPDM. Each plastic ring is split to allow application around penetrations. Ensure there is a
minimum of 1" (25.4 mm) clearance between the penetration’s perimeter inside the plastic ring. If 1" (25.4
mm) clearance cannot be achieved- a larger field fabricated penetration pocket must be used.
6. If necessary to cut the QS Penetration Pocket to apply around the penetration, cut along the line indicated
on the flange and side wall.
7. With the release paper intact, place the pocket around the plastic ring so that the top lip of the pocket
covers the plastic ring.
8. Locate the pre-cut area of the paper on the underside of the flange and remove a small area of the paper
closest to the ring.
9. Using hand pressure, attach the inside of the flange to the membrane to ensure the pocket doesn’t move
while removing the remainder of the paper.

10. Remove the remainder of the release paper and roll the flange from the inside to the outside edge using a
rubber seam roller.
11. Flash any cuts in QS Penetration Pocket kit with QuickSeam Flashing (not included in kit). Prime all
surfaces to receive QS Flashing to cover cuts.
12. Install Pourable Sealer S-6, 10 or FillGard M Pourable Sealer inside QS Penetration Pocket kit, taking care
to mound the Pourable Sealer so water cascades and flows away from the sealed penetration.
13. Apply Lap Sealant HS at all exposed lap edges in QS Penetration Pocket, QS Flashing, and any patches
made in EPDM membrane to accommodate the roof penetration.
NOTE: Typically, the roof membrane has been cut to accommodate the penetration. Before installing the QS
Penetration Pocket, repair the cut per Elevate specifications, extending the patch to the penetration itself.
STORAGE
Store in original unopened containers indoors at temperatures between 60 °F (15.6 °C) and 80 °F (26.7 °C).
Do not store on roof in direct sunlight or at temperatures above 80 °F (26.7 °C).

DESCRIPTION
QuickPrime Plus is designed to clean and prime RubberGard™ EPDM membranes (LSFR, Platinum, RubberGard
Max) prior to application of QuickSeam™ products where required by Elevate Specifications and Details.
QuickPrime Plus is NOT acceptable for use on EcoWhite™ EPDM, UltraPly™ TPO or Elevate PVC membranes.
QuickPrime Plus must be applied with a QuickScrubber™ or QuickScrubber Plus pad and handle when preparing
EPDM membranes to receive QuickSeam products. It may be used to clean membrane prior to the application of
Elevate Splice Adhesive (SA-1065). It also may be brush or roller applied over vertical substrates in preparation for
the application of TPO SA membranes.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Splice surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of foreign materials and excess dusting agent. Clean with broom
or rags to remove contaminates. For in-service membranes, additional cleaning with soap and water followed
by Elevate Splice Wash is necessary.
2. Stir QuickPrime Plus thoroughly before and during use. Apply QuickPrime Plus at the rate of 200 - 250 ft²
per gallon (4.91 - 6.14 m² per liter) per side to the splicing surfaces using the QuickScrubber or QuickScrubber
Plus pad and handle.
3. Use back and forth strokes with heavy pressure along the length of the splicing area, until membrane
surfaces become dark gray in color with no streaking or puddling.
4. Additional scrubbing is required at factory seams, areas of excess dusting agent, or other contaminated
areas of the RubberGard membrane. Change QuickScrubber pad every 200' (61 m).
5. Application of primer at factory seams requires parallel as well as perpendicular motions along the seam
step-off. Apply sufficient pressure on the QuickScrubber Plus pad and handle during application so the pad
holder flattens to allow the total surface of the pad to contact with the RubberGard membrane.
6. Allow the surfaces to dry according to the touch-push test (usually less than 10 minutes) before applying
QuickSeam products or Splice Adhesive SA-1065.
7. Complete seaming procedures per Elevate Specifications and Details.

DESCRIPTION
Elevate QuickSeam Corner Flashing consists of Elevate FormFlash™ factory laminated to QuickSeam Tape. It
is designed to flash inside and outside corners of RubberGard™ EPDM roofing installations.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Clean and prepare the RubberGard EPDM membrane using QuickPrime™ Plus, QuickPrime Plus LVOC,
Single-Ply QuickPrime or Single-Ply LVOC Primer and a QuickScrubber™ or QuickScrubber Plus pad and
handle to remove all dusting agents, dirt and other contaminants that will affect the finished seam.
2. When cloudy conditions below 60 °F (16 °C) occur, use heat guns (without ignition sources) to heat
QuickSeam Corner Flashing. This will ensure good formability of the QuickSeam Corner Flashing to the
primed substrate.
3. On sunny days less than 70 °F (21 °C), place QuickSeam Corner Flashing on roof (prior to application) with
flashing side up to allow QuickSeam Corner Flashing to warm to ensure good formability.
4. On sunny days greater than 70 °F (21 °C), place QuickSeam Corner Flashing on roof (prior to application)
with release paper side up to prevent QuickSeam Corner Flashing from gaining too much heat and to
ensure good formability.
5. Refer to application instructions for specifics: www.elevatecommercialbp.com
STORAGE
Store in original unopened containers indoors at temperatures between 60 °F (16 °C) and 80 °F (27 °C).

DESCRIPTION
UNA-CLAD PVDF Coated Galvanized Steel Architectural Sheet & Coil is AISI-G90 extra smooth, minimum spangle, tension
leveled, hot-dipped galvanized steel that is primed and coated on one side with UNA-CLAD full strength Hylar 5000 / Kynar
500 (contains a minimum of 70% Hylar/Kynar polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resins) premium fluoropolymer coating
system of 1.0 (±0.1) mil total dry film thickness. This coating is AAMA 621-02 compliant. For additional protection a wash
coat of 0.3 – 0.4 mil dry film thickness is applied to the reverse side. An optional strippable protection film is applied for
protection during fabrication and installation. UNA-CLAD PVDF Coated Galvanized Steel Architectural Sheet & Coil is for
general sheet metal use in building applications and can be utilized for fascia panels, soffits, gravel stops, copings, and
roofing such as flat seam, standing seam, batten seam, and mansards.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Install in accordance with recognized sheet metal practices.
2. UNA-CLAD steel can be cut, formed, and fastened using conventional hand or power tools.
3. For best results cutting tool edges should be kept sharp, clean, properly dressed, and closely aligned.
4. Fabrication and erection can be accomplished with strippable plastic film in place. Film should be removed
from areas of concealed or joined pieces.
NOTE: Laser masking is available for laser fabrication. If you require this service, please specify this at time of order
entry.
NOTE: Vintage, Print Colors and Metallics are batched controlled and could display color variation if mixed.
STORAGE AND PACKAGING
Elevate metal sheet and coil should be stored in a well ventilated, dry place where no moisture can contact them.
Moisture (from rain, snow, condensation, etc.) trapped between layers of material may cause water stains or
white rust, which can affect the service life of the material and will detract from its appearance.
If outdoor storage cannot be avoided, protect the panels with a ventilated canvas or waterproof paper cover. Do
not use plastic, which can cause condensation. Keep the material off the ground in an inclined position with an
insulator such as wood.

STORAGE AND PACKAGING CONTINUED
Storage of end-use materials with protective film applied to the surface should be:
o Less than six months with masking applied (warehouse storage and outdoor exposure combined).
o Stored in an enclosed building or holding facility.
o Wrapped/packaged to prevent exposure to direct UV, water, oils, or other contaminants.
o Protective film may become brittle with long term UV exposure.
o Maintained in an environment within a temperature range of 45 to 90°F (7 to 32°C) and 20 to 80% relative
humidity.
o Maximum 2,000 lb of sheets per pallet.
PRECAUTIONS
Protective film may degrade or become brittle with exposure to direct sunlight. Therefore, it must be removed
immediately.
o The performance of this material in the field depends substantially on the integrity of the paint film and on
the underlying coating of zinc being intact. Therefore, this UNA-CLAD product should not be used in areas of
high abrasion or where it is subject to mechanical damage.
Product is pre-finished material; care must be exercised during fabrication and erection to avoid surface damage.
Elevate recommends a minimum bend radius of 2T. Anything less than a 2T bend radius can cause crazing to the
material.
Attention should be paid to good house-keeping practices.
Tools must be clean and properly dressed.
Avoid dragging sheets over surfaces which may scratch or mar the finish.
For general sheet metal use in building applications.
Do not cut with power saws or abrasive blades.
Refer to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for safety information.
NOTE: Vintage, Print Colors and Metallics are batched controlled and could display color variation if mixed.

DESCRIPTION
QuickSeam Walkway Pads are high quality rubber walkway pads with QuickSeam Tape factory laminated to the
bottom surface. The QuickSeam Tape secures the walkway pads to the primed RubberGard™ EPDM membrane.
QuickSeam Walkway Pads help protect the membrane from damage due to necessary rooftop service traffic.
The material exhibits excellent levels of hardness, tensile strength, wear, and tear resistance, and displays
excellent cold flexibility.
The owner is responsible for maintaining walkways in specific areas:
Required at all access points (ladders, hatches, doorways, etc.) to the roof.
Suggested around all mechanical equipment which will require maintenance, and as a walkway system on
roofs subjected to traffic more frequently than once per month.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Position the QuickSeam Walkway pads so that the flat surface is over the completed RubberGard EPDM
membrane, spacing each pad a minimum of 1" (25.4 mm) and a maximum 6" (152.4 mm) from each other to
allow for drainage.
2. If installation of the QuickSeam Walkway Pads is over field fabricated seams, or within 3" (76.2 mm) of a
lap edge, the seam must be stripped in using 5" QuickSeam Flashing. Apply the QuickSeam Flashing over
the field seam for a distance of 6" (152.4 mm) minimum past each side of the walkway pad.
3. Use QuickPrime™ Plus, QuickPrime Plus LVOC, Single-Ply QuickPrime Primer, or Single-Ply LVOC Primer,
applied with a QuickScrubber™ or QuickScrubber Plus pad and handle to clean and prime the RubberGard
membrane.
4. Allow primer to dry according to the touch-push test.
5. Remove the release paper on the tape and place the taped walkway pad into place on the primed
membrane.
6. Walk on the pad to assure proper overall adhesion.
STORAGE
Store in original unopened containers indoors at temperatures between 60 °F (15.6 °C) and 80 °F (26.7 °C).
Do not store on roof in direct sunlight or at temperatures above 80 °F (26.7 °C).
When exposed to lower temperatures; restore to room temperature prior to use.
