On June 23, 2026, and July 2, 2026, we visited the site of the building under construction at 5810 County
Road 320 near Rifle in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS
Permit # SEPT-9710. The system was designed by CBO Inc. and installed by Energy Field Services. We
received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was
constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated July 20, 2026.
During our inspections, we observed the new sewer line and cleanouts adjacent to the building, the new
poly 1,250-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the second
compartment of the tank, the new effluent line, the new distribution box, and the Soil Treatment Area
(STA). The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. The STA
consisted of four gravelless chamber trenches with 11 Infiltrator Arc 36660 chambers per trench (44 total
chambers, 660 ft2 total STA). The existing septic tank was removed and the existing STA was abandoned
in place. On July 20, 2026 we received photo confirmation that inspection ports were present at each end
of each trench.
As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection
observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
