The system was designed by K-Cronk Engineering and installed by Voskuil Operations. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated May 15, 2026. During our inspection, we observed the new sewer line, the new concrete 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank with a high-head Orenco pump package in the second compartment of the tank, the new pump line, and the Soil Treatment Area (STA). The septic tank was installed level with access brought to grade. A level manifold could not be achieved due to site constraints however equal distribution was observed over the three trenches during the squirt height test. The STA consisted of three gravel-less pressure- dosed chamber trenches each containing 14 ‘Quick 4’ chambers for a total of 42 chambers (504 ft 2 total STA). The STA consisted of 3 distribution laterals, one per trench constructed of 1.5-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC with 5/32-inch diameter orifices every 3-feet on center, facing up. The distribution laterals ended in a 90-degree sweeping bend facing up, fitted with a ball valve to allow flushing of the laterals. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. The residual head (squirt height) was observed to be between five and 6 feet. As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
