On December 22, 2025, we visited the site of the residence under construction at 1159 County Road 237
near Silt in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit #
SEPT-9177. The system was designed by CBO, Inc. and installed by Silt Mesa Excavation. We received
an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in
compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated May 1, 2026.
During our inspection, we observed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new
1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet, the 300-gallon pump
chamber with a high-head Orenco pump package, and the new pump line. The septic tank was installed
level with access brought to grade. The STA is documented by permit SEPT-6166 installed in 2021.
As required by Garfield County OWTS Regulation Section 43.4.F.3, based on our final inspection
observations, this OWTS was installed according to the permit requirements and regulations.
