The below items will be added to each contract we sign. We will provide a number for the storage of the material and equipment if that option is desired. With the current volatile pricing of materials and equipment, and the extended lead times of most materials and equipment, to maintain the pricing of this quote we would need to order the equipment within 30 days of the bid. This means we would need approved submittals back so that we can release the order. If this is the case, we would need to add additional storage fees (warehouse rental cost, labor to unload and reload the materials, and freight/ shipping) for storing the equipment and then getting it to the jobsite for the storage site. Which means we would need to be paid for the equipment or charge additional interest and other fees if the owner doesn’t want to pay for it. The second option would be for the owner to release the equipment when it would be needed onsite, but the owner would be responsible for all price increase on all material and equipment. We would provide the original quote and the revised quote in the change order. With the current volatility in availability of materials and equipment, items that were specified may not be available at the time of purchase or may have extended lead times.
