Garfield County Dear Katie: This letter is intended to serve as a report regarding the percolation test performed on Lot 17, Pinyon Peaks, Garfield County, Colorado, on September 27 and 28, 1990. Three percolation holes were dug, pre- soaked and percolated. The results are as follows: 1. Hole No. 1 - 7 minutes per inch. 2. Hole No. 2 - 6 minutes per inch. 3.. Hole No. 3 - 6 minutes per inch. As I indicated to you by phone earlier, this percolation test is only a part of the soils test required for the design of an individual sewage disposal system (ISDS) Based upon the results, it appears that it will be possible to install a percolation type system. Please note that because a profile hole was not excavated, we do not know the depth to groundwater nor 0.edrock. TherfloYe; we cannot provide a conclusive design for this property. Possible options at this point in time would include a Wisconsin mound type system, sand filter or a standard type system. I hope this information serves its intended purpose.
