We performed percolation testing as part of our geotechnical investigation at the subject site (CTL/Thompson, Inc. Job No. GS -2084, dated March, 18, 1997). Percolation test results at that time varied significantly and may have been effected by winter conditions. Percolation testing was repeated on May 27, 1997 and reported in our letter dated June 24, 1997 (CTL/Thompson, Inc. Job No. GS- 2084). Due to the varied results from the borings and because the actual location of the percolation field has changed since our field investigation was performed in March CTL/THOMPSON, INC. was requested to perform percolation testing again. The locations of our percolation borings and pits are presented in Figure 1. Exploratory pits were excavated to a depth of approximately 3 feet deep with the contractors backhoe. A test hole 6 to 8 inches in diameter was hand excavated an additional 12 to 18 inches. The percolation test holes were saturated and percolation testing performed the following day.
