ROOM DIMENSIONS:
Habitable space shall have a ceiling height of not less than 7 feet 6

Enclosed usable space under the stairs is required to be protected as required

CRAWLSPACE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Provide ventilation either by mechanical means or by openings in exterior
walls. Opening shall provide a net area of not less than 1 square foot for
each 150 square feet of area in crawl space. Openings shall be distributed
on two opposite sides and be located as close to corners as practical.
-- Sec. 2516.(c) 6. Note: Vent openings may be reduced to 10% of the above
if ground surface area is covered with an approved vapor barrier and the
building official approves.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
For R3 occupancy
The ceiling of the loft is not high enough for this space to be used
as habitable space including use for sleeping purposes. If ceiling
height would neet to be a minimum height of 7' -6" (UBC Sec. 1207) and
be accessed by a stair complying with Sec. 3306.
It was assumed that a free standing stove would be installed in this
cabin. If this is the case, please provide relative information per
the correction notice. If no stove or fireplace please let me know.
The insulation requirements for the walls are a minumum of R -19. The
minimum for ceiling /roof is R -25. It does not appear that what is
proposed will meet these requirements. How will this be
accomplished?
S offit and rafter ventilation have not been indicated on the plan. I
Neither has ventilation of the crawl space. Please provide
information.
Method of providing heat to this building per Section 1212 has not
been indicated on this plan.
