When I visited you last week, you said you had not had a chance to pursue this matter. T need to take this opportunity to remind you that it is a Colorado State Law that requires you to obtain a final electrical inspection. 1 am enclosing a copy of my first letter, and another electrical permit application form. Dear Carl, Nice talking with you the other day in regard to the final inspection on the nice additions to your home. As far as the Building Department is concerned, we have completed all the necessary inspections, and the final inspection is complete. After I spoke with you, however, I learned from Leonard Rowe, State Electrical Inspector, that there had not been a final inspection on the electric portions of the addition. He also told me that your original Electric Permit has expired. All electric work is required to pass a final electrical inspection before being used. I know you were not aware of this. Many times on addition projects these final inspections may be unintentionally overlooked. Garfield County requires that the final electrical inspection be complete before we can technically final the entire project. I have enclosed another application form for a new permit. You can call Leonard Rowe, and work out the arrangements and details. You could then inform me when Mr. Rowe has been able to complete his final inspection. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. Maybe we can be done with this by the end of September? Let me know if that will not give you enough time to complete the electrical inspection, and we can make other arrangements.
