Subject: Application for a building permit and submission of plans.
The submitted plan conveys very little information. Calculations run on the submitted plan
indicates overstressing as designed (see enclosed). Correction will be required to provide
adequate structural support for the design loads.
The owner is being provided with a check list of code items most often referred to during a plan
review. The permit will be issued with the understanding of the owner that all provisions of the
code will be complied with and that he will request appropriate inspections to verify compliance.
A copy of this memo will be provided to the owner along with his permit.
Inspections that are required to be requested by the owner will be:
1. Foundation inspection.
2. Concrete slab or under floor inspection.
3. Frame inspection,
4. Gypsum board inspection (if applied).
5. Final inspection.
Inspections may disclose corrections that may be required by the inspector to provide for
compliance with the Uniform Building Code.
