Refer to the permit application and drawings submitted by the owner. Specific Code requirements as follows: 1) Roof truss diagrams have been received from TRUSS FAB, please note that the bottom cord will be designed for a storage load of 30 lbs., P.S.F., this allows for relatively Tight loads only. 2) The plans show a slab on grade construction (Section 2907 Exceptions (1). (2).,). The foundation plan is acceptable except that the code requires that in all cases the foundation shall be founded on undisturbed soil. Therefore a deeper footing may be required in some cases of the excavation. (Reference U.B.C. Standards No. 29 -3., 88 edition). G -9 It is our understanding that the owner desires to construct the house for himself and therefore does not need a general contractor.
