Date: November 28, 1994 Subject: Concrete monolithic slab, and roof structure. Attachment. Plan review by: Art Hougland 1. The monolithic foundation as indicated on the plan does not comply with the minimum standards for Garfield County. Attached is a copy of this minimum standard, and the foundation will need to comply with the minimum standard. 2. The scaled building section is inconsistent with the plan view of the garage. The garage is 24' x 30' and the section scales about 7'- 4" from the wall to the ridge. How is this accomplished? The system is a site built truss that I cannot verify to comply with U.B.C. (Uniform Building Code) requirements for roof live load. Either a Pre - engineered truss system will be required, the site built truss will be required to be stamped and signed by a Colorado registered engineer working within his or her discipline or a design complying with the U.B.C. is to be provided. The permit will be issued in order to install the foundation.
