A final Electrical Inspection from the Colorado State Electrical Inspector; 2. Permanent address assigned by Garfield County Building Department posted where readily visible from access road; 3. A finished roof, a lockable house, complete exterior siding, exterior doors and windows installed, a complete kitchen with cabinets, a sink with hot & cold running water, non - absorbent kitchen floor coverings, counter tops and finished walls, ready for stove and refrigerator, all necessary plumbing; 4. Building & Planning Dept. From: Dan Baxter Re: Building permit Please refer to the attached floor plan of 0045 Willow Lane, Carbondale. I am proposing to do the following work: • The "sun room" was previously enclosed several years ago. It was originally an exterior porch area with a roof and walls on three sides. There are now two sliding glass doors for the exterior wall plus a short 18 inch return wall The floor is plywood over an old exterior 2x4 deck. The joists are sitting (unattached) on a 2x10 laying across four stacks of bricks. The exterior wall has no header and is carrying no weight. The main house roof beams are cantilevered out 8 feet from what was originally the exterior wall, now the interior sun room wall. • The demolition will consist of removing the exterior glass doors, the floor and the old joists. Joist hangers will be used to attach the new 2x10 joints to the original house foundation via the rim joist. The exterior wall will be supported with a three pier concrete post foundation with a double 2x 10 treated joint header. Joist hangers will attach the joists to the header. A new 4x4 steel I beam header will be inserted up under the three roof beams with sets of triple 2x6 studs transferring the load to the foundation. Within the new framing, a new sliding French door will be installed (highest quality Marvin clad exterior set - insulated glass etc) Please see attached wall detail drawing. • The existing interior door into the "Sun Room" is currently a 12 ft. wide triple panel sliding glass door. I will replace this 12 ft wide door with a new conventional 6 ft French door with side panels on both sides. Total new width will be 9 feet and the existing header will be untouched.
