I eo June 19, 2012 Garfield County Building & Planning 108 8th Street, Ste. 201 Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 RE: Grangroth ISDS-475 Panoramic Drive, Silt, CO BUI #1201001 To Whom it May Concern: JUN 2 1 2012 \lTV ING The purpose of this letter is to address the reconstruction of the Individual Sewage Disposal System for the Grangroth Residence located at 475 Panoramic Drive near Silt, CO. (Silt Mesa area). Boundaries Unlimited Inc. (BUI) performed an inspection of a portion of the installed system on June 1, 2012 and reviewed photographs take thereafter of the completed installation. The installation included a tiered absorbption field constructed of mechanically graded sands, silts under a gravel bed in a manner similar to the design. The existing tank was maintained .. The replacement system appeared to have been installed in conformance with the intent of the design with the exception of the field slope along the existing driveway which appears to be somewhat steeper than 3: 1. The condition of the slope should be monitored by the homeowner and corrected if any seepage is observed. If seepage does occur, it is recommended that the driveway be relocated and a local silty-clay be used for additional fill. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 945-5252 x 1.
